This outstanding coffee brings delicately sweet notes of floral-toned ginger blossom, berries and mint to the aroma. Bright and sweet cup with hints of pink peppercorn, baking chocolate, and light notes of hazelnut. The coffee feels soft, has a light body, and finishes with a silky smooth floral touch.

The standout feature is the honey process. These coffee beans dry and ferment in their own cherry pulp. This adds a sweet and bright-citric-like twist to the taste.

These beans are sold in small quantities and are perfect for home roasting or testing out new market offerings. Take the chance to elevate your coffee experience with this exceptional Guatemalan treasure.

This un-roasted coffee is ready to be roasted at home or your roastery.

What's so special about this coffee?

With an SCA score of 93 points, these coffee beans are covered in their own natural "honey", a key feature of the honey-processed coffee. During drying, a portion of the coffee cherry's mucilage, referred to as "honey," is left on the bean. This method infuses the coffee with a sweet, complex flavour, creating a rich and delightful taste profile.

This Queen Geisha coffee, sourced from Coffea diversa Guatemala, comes from a one-of-a-kind coffee garden with a diverse collection of rare and unique varietals. The coffee features delicately sweet notes of floral-toned ginger blossom, berries, and mint in the aroma. Bright and sweet cup with notes of pink peppercorn, baking chocolate, and light notes of hazelnut. This limited-edition coffee offers a unique experience for discerning coffee lovers.

Coffea diversa: Exotic Coffee Varietals grown in Suchitan

Coffea diversa distinguishes itself apart by cultivating over eight hundred coffee species, varieties, and mutations across three gardens. Thirty of these are found on the Suchitan volcano in Guatemala, where the mineral-rich soil nourishes the plants. Unlike typical coffee estates, Coffea diversa grows rare and exotic varieties, offering unique flavours and profiles not found elsewhere.

Coffea diversa’s commitment to quality is obvious in its limited production. Gonzalo Hernandez and Jose Padilla grow only a few trees of each variety, resulting in exclusive, small-batch coffees sold in 10-kilogram bags. This careful cultivation ensures each batch is a unique and sought-after experience for roasters and connoisseurs worldwide.

About Coffea Diversa Guatemala

Coffea diversa Suchitan is a collaborative effort by Jose Padilla and Gonzalo Hernandez. In the early 2000s, these two coffee friends took seeds from the original Coffea diversa garden in Costa Rica and established a new coffee garden in Suchitan, Guatemala, giving birth to Coffea diversa Suchitan.

Gonzalo explains, "We call ourselves a garden and not a farm. A coffee farm is normally monovarietal. In our case, we produce so many coffee botanical varieties. So what makes a garden beautiful is the diversity of plants." Discover how Padilla and Hernandez created this botanical haven for coffee enthusiasts worldwide.
