About Sao Luiz,

Sao Luiz Estate is a part of a century-old family legacy in Brazil’s Cerrado Mineiro region. Originally dedicated to other agricultural activities, the farm shifted its focus to coffee after its introduction to the area. Today, Ana Cecilia Gondim Velloso and her brother Lucio lead the estate, combining generations of knowledge with cutting-edge advancements to produce exceptional specialty coffee. Their dedication to science, sustainability, and quality has made Sao Luiz Estate a respected name in Brazilian coffee.

Sao Luiz Estate became one of the first farms in the region to invest in advanced coffee technology, working alongside scientists and agronomists to refine their processes. Their commitment to innovation and sustainability is evident in their organic fertilization via composting, smart water management, and forest preservation efforts. Their pursuit of excellence has earned them multiple awards, including finalist placements in the Ernesto Illy Award for Quality Coffee, first-place wins in the Cerrado Mineiro Region Award, and recognition in the Coffee Quality of Minas Gerais competition.

Beyond accolades, Sao Luiz Estate is a community-driven farm, focused on collaboration, environmental responsibility, and producing consistently high-quality coffee. Every cup reflects the passion, expertise, and sustainability efforts that define Sao Luiz Estate coffee.
