As a fifth-generation producer, Ana has refined her approach to specialty coffee, through regenerative agriculture and precision processing. Grown at 1550+ meters under shade trees, LS2 is produced in a balanced ecosystem, resulting in a complex flavour profile.
This Caturra variety is processed using an anaerobic red honey process with double-stage fermentation, bringing out bright notes of lemongrass, vanilla, and jasmine, complemented by subtle maple syrup sweetness. A silky, medium-rounded body supports its aromatic balance, while citric acidity and a persistent, floral aftertaste create a clean and expressive experience.

Café Primitivo is a specialty coffee farm in Quindio, Colombia, run by fifth-generation producer Ana Maria Donneys. Named in honor of her great-great-grandfather, Primitivo Correal Barrios, the farm blends tradition with innovation, focusing on regenerative farming and experimental fermentation techniques. Ana took over the farm in 2019, transforming it into a leader in sustainable and high-quality coffee production while also co-founding IWCA Colombia to support women in the industry.
