This fully-washed Caturra coffee embodies Haiti's deep-rooted coffee heritage, delivering a flavour profile that is both complex and memorable.
This fully-washed coffee is ideal for a dark roast, this coffee offers a full, creamy body with notes of heavy almond and peanut, buttery mouthfeel, and subtle undertones of root beer, vanilla, and black currant. Its floral acidity and quick chocolaty aftertaste make it an excellent choice for espresso, French press, and drip brewing methods. Each batch reflects the dedication to quality and traditional practices that make Haitian coffee stand out.
Available in 60 kg bags with Grain-Pro packaging to ensure maximum freshness, this coffee is perfect for roasters committed to impactful sourcing and quality. Our partnership with the APCAB COOP and Kok Ki Chante supports fair wages and community welfare for Haitian coffee farmers, ensuring that every purchase contributes to sustainable growth in the Haitian coffee sector.
Marre Blanc coffee is celebrated for its unique washed process and specialized fermentation, which reveals its vibrant cupping notes of bright citrus, dark chocolate, subtle plum, and a hint of florals.
Grown at 1,500 meters in the rich soils of Haiti's lush terroir, this coffee flourishes in the balanced tropical climate with abundant rainfall and natural shading from surrounding vegetation. These conditions yield a smooth, full-bodied coffee with a nuanced sweetness, perfect for pour-over, French press, and espresso preparations.
Similar to Jamaica, Haiti also has a unique micro-climate that benefits the production of coffee; it is also the most mountainous country in the Caribbean. The coffee has a distinctive and unforgettable taste due to its healthy, volcanic, and rich soils. The coffee's Ethiopian roots heavily influence the traditions of the Haitian farmers when cultivating, making the coffee refined and rich in flavor.
Kok Ki Chante is a non-profit and a proud leader in Haiti’s specialty coffee sector, focusing on sustainable practices and supporting local farmers. Through strong community ties, Kok Ki Chante brings uniquely vibrant, high-quality Haitian coffee to the world.
