Victory Mountain coffee stands out for its carefully washed process, including a 12-hour fermentation, highlighting its distinct cupping notes of candied green apple, apricot, walnut, raw sugar, and a touch of tangerine.
Grown at 1,250 meters in the rich volcanic soil of El Salvador's Balsamo/Quezaltepec region, this Bourbon variety benefits from the area's balanced climate, with 1,800 mm of annual rainfall and abundant shade from surrounding vegetation. The result is a medium-bodied coffee with a sweet finish, ideal for espresso blends, pour-over, and French press preparations.
Victory Mountain Farm supports local communities through volunteer activities and support for small producers. In collaboration with Dutch Bros. and Glasswing, the farm organized an event at Talnique Educational Complex, where over 50 volunteers, including employees, parents, students, and teachers, revitalized the school by painting, donating a ping-pong table, and assembling recycled furniture.
Additionally, the Borgonovo family helps small producers by providing advanced genetic material and agricultural training to boost productivity and profitability. This initiative aims to increase small farms' output from 2-3 to 20 quintals per acre, enhancing household incomes and community wealth.
Borgonovo Pohl acquired Farm Victoria shortly after they founded San Carlos Estate. Since then, Carlos Borgonovo and his family have brought five decades of coffee industry experience to ensure that they harvest coffee that is of high quality.
Their partnerships with local farmers and estates guarantee top-quality coffee beans. Dedicated to sustainability and environmental practices, they foster a thriving community.
